About Us
Milford Village Veterinary Clinic was established in May of 1973 by Dr. Clarke and Dr. Heagren as a satellite office to Montgomery Animal Hospital in Kenwood, Ohio. Once known as Minnie Pearl’s Chicken Delight, the original building was then transformed into an animal hospital to serve Milford and the surrounding communities.
Meet The Team
Dr. Emily Miller is a Cincinnati native, born and raised in Loveland. After graduating from Cincinnati Country Day School, she attended the University of Colorado Boulder with a Bachelors in Environmental Studies. Her love of all animals then led her to upstate New York to work for a farm animal sanctuary for a few years before starting vet school. She attended St. George’s University on the beautiful island of Grenada and completed her clinical year at The Ohio State University. When not in the clinic, Dr. Emily enjoys spending her free time with her family, both 2 and 4-legged. Dr. Emily purchased the practice from Dr. Merry in January 2020 and is excited to continue his legacy of compassionate animal care.
Dr. Merry began working full-time at MVVC in July of 1978. Continuing the clinic’s affiliation with Montgomery Animal Hospital, Dr. Merry performed surgeries at the “Main Office” until an extensive addition and surgical suite were completed at MVVC in 1997. Having purchased the building and existing practice from Dr. Clarke in 1994, Dr. Merry has developed it into a thriving, full-service animal hospital with an ever-expanding staff. In his “free time”, Dr. Merry enjoys working on his various building projects, and spending as much time as possible with his two granddaughters, Paige & Brooke.
